Driving License

Expert assistance to obtain or convert your driving license in Thailand — fast, compliant, and stress-free

Why You Need a Thai Driving License

If you plan to drive in Thailand, having the right license isn’t just a legal requirement — it’s also essential for full insurance coverage.

  • For Tourists: You’ll need both your national driving license (motorcycle category A / car category B) and an International Driving Permit (IDP) to meet Thai legal standards and maintain insurance validity.
  • For Long-Term Residents (90+ days): You must apply for a Thai driving license, which may involve passing a driving test specific to Thai regulations.

Meeting these requirements ensures you can drive confidently, safely, and legally during your stay.
